Please Help!
In this scenario, you would not want to use the built-in Visited State. Instead, create your own custom state ("Completed") and trigger the state to change when the Visted Layer Timeline ends.

Go to Trigger menu
Action: Change state of
Object: (Name my object)
State: Set state to Visited
When: When the time line finishes on
Object: (what would I put here? Am I making this trigger on the base slide or the slide layer?)
Can you share more about your suggestion from above. I am creating a series of courses that build off of each other and this would be a big bang for in my course development process!:
"I would add that the pause timeline on every slide for every user seems to create an awkward user experience for most of your users. Have you considered using a true false variable to pause the timeline only for this using a reader?"
