Preview slide vs preview story view inconsistencies with drag and drop slide

Hi. I have created a drag and drop activity with a button to submit the interaction. When this is done, the states of the drag objects change to indicate drop correct or incorrect. Once they are all correct, a new button appears to advance to the next slide. This all works perfectly in single slide preview. However, when I switch to preview in story view, the submit button no longer submits the interaction. Instead, it advances to the next slide. Any helpful ideas/suggestions out there?

    Do you have a story you can share?  I imagine that the triggers are taking the user to the next slide, however, when previewing only one slide, there is not another slide to go to.
