Problems after selecting Try Again
Greetings,
I am happy with this VR quiz template I made, but having trouble with the Try Again option. After hitting Try Again and returning to the main menu, it reveals the Results slide again and again after each question. This isn't happening until the user selects Try Again. Any ideas why and how to make it stop revealing the Results slide until the user selects Submit again?

The raw file is attached.
TIA,
Val

Hi Val!
Good news! I found the setting that was making your results slide appear after retrying the questions! Having the "Reset only incorrect question" setting enabled in your "Reset results" trigger was the cause. With that setting enabled, the correctly answered questions remain submitted which triggers the results slide to show automatically. Here's a Peek video showing where I found that setting.
I also included an updated story file with the setting already disabled.
Thanks for reaching out!

Thank you. I appreciate your time and response.
It sounds like you are saying that a trigger is built into Storyline that pulls up the result slide after each response unless all answers are reset. I can't imagine when this would be convenient - seeing the result slide after every question. Is there no way to change that trigger? Is Articulate aware that this is happening? This seems to be a glitch that they should look into fixing.
If I disable the "Reset only incorrect question" setting, I will have to also modify the tracker so that all indicators reset. I prefer not to do this because of all of the variables involved. Is there a way to make the Try Again button reset all variables at once?
Hi Val,
I understand how you feel, and I agree that the 'Try Again' button should function for your course even if the "Reset only incorrect question" setting is checked.
I opened a case on your behalf so we can have our support engineers take a look at your project file. i've shared the steps to replicate the issue with them so they'll be up to speed with what's happening. Someone will be in touch shortly!

Wow, thanks. I appreciate the extra steps you took.
Add: In the end, I triggered the Try Again button to reset the entire course, as a fix for now. It's not the desired effect, but it works.

Glad to hear my colleagues were able to assist, Val!
Thanks for sharing what you ended up implementing in your course. I'm curious to see if other community members can share any insight from their experience.
Have a great afternoon!
