Restriction Navigation Feature
Hi BrandonMazibuko!
Sorry to hear Lessons, set to Restricted Navigation are not being marked as complete in Rise 360!
Using a sample Rise 360 course with six Lessons, and set to Restricted Navigation, I tested the output on my end. While previewing the course, as well as after publishing to Review 360 and LMS (testing with SCORM Cloud), I could not replicate the same behavior.
No worries! I'd be happy to help troubleshoot, and have some follow-up questions to get us started:
- Are you noticing this behavior only when viewing the course in an LMS? If so, have you tested the published SCORM package in an LMS test environment like SCORM Cloud to isolate the issue?
- Can the same issue be observed across multiple supported browsers?
- Does clearing your browser's cache make any improvement?
Looking forward to hearing from you!
Hi StevenBenassi,
Thank you for the feedback. I’ve tested the package on the LMS test environment, and it works perfectly. However, on our internal LMS platform, the issue is still persisting and seems to affect users randomly.
Do you think we may need to update our LMS platform to ensure full compatibility with the restricted navigation feature?
Kind regards,
B

Hello BrandonMazibuko,
Thank you for confirming that your file is working as expected when tested in SCORM Cloud. Happy to continue troubleshooting!
- What LMS are you currently using?
- Are you or your teammates receiving a specific error message in your LMS?
- Is this happening with any other courses uploaded to your LMS, or just this one?
As a first step, it would be helpful to confirm with your LMS provider that you are working with the most recent version of the system.
If you're still having trouble viewing your course as expected, we'd be happy to have our team continue this conversation over in a support case.
Looking forward to hearing from you!
