Review 360 comments are not aligning with Rise comments in Chrome or Edge.
Hello everyone! 🎉
I'm happy to let you know we released a new update for Rise 360. This update fixes the issue you encountered where Review 360 feedback screenshots are not aligned with the Rise 360 blocks where the comments are posted. There's nothing to install for web apps. New features and fixes are immediately available.
Let me know if you have any questions about this update or the issue you reported.
Dear Eric:
A few things for clarification, since I am still stuck.
1) I am trying the Review 360 comment placement fix before I send it out to my contract proofreader. Do I need to have two licenses of Articulate to be able to use this feature?
2) I made some comments on a newly published chapter of Rise 360 into Review 360. I can see the editing pane on the right, I can make the comments, but they are not aligned with the location on the parent text, which is frustrating. I think the behavior we need is to leave some sort of mark or shading on the area that needs to be corrected, and then the reviewer will be able to scroll to that particular correction. As it is, my comments do not resolve to the place on the text that provoked them, and they even show up in a different order. I'm enclosing a screen grab to show you two comments, but I left the ID tag on the 2nd comment SHADED IN GREY, but you can see the comment sits as the first comment, not the second, which is when I made it.
3) I want to make sure this updated feature works before I send it out (or have to buy additional licenses). My thinking was that my proofing staff did not need an Articulate license to edit something generate in Review 360.
Thanks for your help in sorting all this out. I can see from other colleagues and "heroes" that this would be a tremendous help for our editing functions, which often are sent to contractors and part-time employees.
If you think I need more intense handholding, I will submit a Support ticket (ain't too proud to beg!) Thanks again for this fantastic software and your patience with helping us try to get this working--it would be such an efficient way to proof our content!
Sincerely,
Rick Bauer, eLearning Designer

Hi Rick,
Happy to chime in!
- You don't need an Articulate 360 subscription to leave a comment on a Review 360 item. You don't even need an Articulate ID. Anyone can leave a comment on a published Review 360 item if you configure it this way.
- We have an open feature request to add a feature in Review 360 that will allow course owners to annotate directly on a course screenshot. I've added this ELH post to the request so we can notify you as soon as it makes it to our product roadmap.
- Would you mind sharing more details regarding what you're trying to achieve for this item? You mentioned editing something generated in Review 360 - can you share a screenshot of what exactly you would like them to edit?

Thanks for the response and the information. Basically, I'd like the same
kind of behavior I experience when correcting someone else's powerpoint or
Word file:1) I highlight the portion of the writer's original text
2) I insert a comment about a grammatically incorrect term or suggestion
3) the sender can see the highlighted area and the comment and that comment
is aligned vertically with the shaded incorrect term
4) ideally, information about how the suggested correction was handled
could be captured. This is standard operating procedure for copy and web editor, but it seems
that this is a running issue, as I see comments and complaints for years on
this issue. I'm glad that having people proofread RISE 360 files without a
license is good, but the current "feature" is quite hard to use, and we end
up going to PDF format, which does not always resolve well on the file.If you have additional question or want to set up a Zoom session, I would
be glad to help improve the product. Thanks for your interest in improving
your product. I am a refugee from Adobe Captivate and it's a refreshing
change of attitude in your organization.Sincerely,

This is very helpful, Rick!
I've shared this with our product team, who will look at this feature request in more detail. If we decide to enhance the way Review 360 comments operate, I'll update you in this discussion.
