Rise 360-Undo Action
Hi,
There doesn't seem to be a way to undo an action in Rise without losing everything. I accidentally deleted a table (I thought was deleting a row) and I couldn't undo the action. Is there a way to do that? If not, that really would be a helpful thing to create.
Thanks,
Kandice

HELP!!! I accidentally deleted an entire block of slides that took hours to create. How can I recover this?
Hi Jaime,
When you delete an entire block, the Undo option will appear in the lower-left corner for several seconds to allow you to recover that content. If you no longer see the Undo button, there isn't any way to recover the deleted content.

Is there a reason that you are not adding this feature? This thread goes back 10 months and yet the feature has not yet appeared?, It seems a pretty basic addition which will prevent people losing their work (and time, effort and patience!).

+1 to Matthew and Latoya's suggestions. Being able to delete an entire section or lesson with only a few seconds to click undo is really, really, annoying. 30 minutes of work down the drain after 1 accidental click of the mouse.

Agreed Chris. Docebo even recently updated their ideas portal to make it better and made a pledge to review ideas weekly. There are so many small (and large) changes that could be made with Rise that I would make it much more friendly and thoughtful. I would be happy to contribute ideas and help make Rise 360 a better platform for writers and learners!

Very frustrating that the undo button only appears for a few seconds. I deleted a process block that took in excess of 20 minutes to make (accidentally instead of clicking copy) . The trash can definitely should not be located next to the copy. What a waste of my time! An undo button is a basic feature that should a given.
- Hi everyone! We've improved the visibility and functionality of the undo notification that appears when you delete blocks and lessons.
The new undo notification appears for 12 seconds with a timer indicator. If you need longer than 12 seconds, hover your mouse over the notification to pause the timer. You'll also see multiple notifications when more than one block is deleted.

This is marginally better than before, but why do it this way at all as this is a totally unfamiliar UI/UX.
Stick to a standard modal dialog box that everyone knows, and is already used to confirm deletion of items in the Block Template library:

I also ran into this
Hi Justin!
The Undo button appears when you delete blocks and lessons, but won't show up when deleting text (and tables) within the blocks. You can press the Ctrl+Z (Command+Z for Macs) keys to undo your recent actions. This should help get back the deleted table in your Rise course.
Hope this helps. Let us know if you have any additional questions or clarifications.

Unfortunately, the control + Z didn't recover my deleted table.

I agree. Please make that button last way longer or be a permanent feature. This is really aggravating that by the time you realize you deleted the wrong thing, it is already gone forever. It is even more frustrating that this still seems to be an issue after all these years and all these users requesting for this to be improved.

Oops, hit the wrong button and lost a page. First time this has happened & super frustrating that there is no app wide undo. Upon discovery, I'm astounded that the existing limited undo function with the disappearing timer is joke-like video game. Who thought of that? Satan?

This just happened to us. Collaborator deleted about 2 weeks worth of work because deleting an entire SECTION is one hidden button click with no confirmation. If you hover over the wrong part of a lesson header in the lesson list, theres a slide out delete button thats not visible until a few seconds after hovering, but still clickable. The 12 seconds "undo" button timer is an unacceptable solution.
