RISE inserted in Storyline
Hello to all!!
I am trying to insert a RISE course into a Storyline module.
I exported the RISE course as Web element. In Storyline I added a trigger to a button to open URL element. So I browsed the 'index' file in the RISE web folder.
But when clicking the button, the Rise content is not displayed.
Am I doing something wrong? Is it possible to insert a RISE course into Storyline successfully?
Thanks so much for your help.
Hi Melissa,
We do not call them blocks in Storyline 360, but you can embed Rise 360 courses into Storyline 360.
- First, export your Rise 360 course as a web package and extract the zip file on your local computer.
- Then, add the extracted folder (that contains the Rise 360
index.html
file) to your Storyline 360 project as a web object.

Hi Ricardo!
It sounds like you're on the right track! Right now, we support moving Storyline content to Rise but not vice versa.
I'm sure we have community members who have achieved this, so I'll leave it to them to share their method!

I'm wondering the same thing. Can we insert a Rise block into Storyline yet?

Hi Leslie, what if you just want to export one Rise interaction, such as a quiz, without a cover page. Is that possible?
Hi Amanda,
While we don't have a feature to export individual sections of a Rise 360 course, you can create duplicates of the course and delete all of the lessons except your quiz and then export. To duplicate your course, hover your mouse over the course card, click on the three dots then click on duplicate.
Removing the cover page is currently not possible, but we have an open feature request for this so I added your voice to that feature request. We'll send you an update here if this feature is added to Rise 360.
Let me know if you need anything else!

Understood – thank you for the quick update and feature request! :)
Hi Amanda! We're excited to share a new way to deliver bite-sized training focused on a single objective... Microlearning!
Microlearning gets your learners into the content faster without a course outline or description, or full course navigation features. You can get started from our new microlearning templates, use any of our business lesson content, or create one from scratch.
I thought this content might be interesting for you based on what you shared above about single interactions. Let us know what you think!

I appreciate the update, Crystal! I believe this might actually help me achieve what I was aiming for where I can use a Rise microlearning title as the question for an interaction. Thanks again!

Good news, everyone! We've just released a new feature that allows you to turn off the cover page when you publish for LMS to improve compatibility, streamline training, and get learners into content faster. Give it a try, and let us know if you have any questions about it!
Note: You can't hide the cover page for training created from Next Big Idea Club content templates.- AmandaSouthw255Community Member
Awesome! Is there a way to make this setting available for when you publish to the web as well, instead of just LMS?
Hi Amanda!
Thanks for reaching out! Happy to hear that this new feature would benefit you when authoring in Rise!
At the moment, the option to Hide Cover Page is only available when publishing to an LMS.
Please let me know if you have any more questions!

Hi Amanda,
Great question! I understand that you would like to submit a feature request for hiding the cover page when publishing to the web. I'd be happy to get you some information on that!
Click on the link below to submit a feature request.
I hope this helps!
