Rise Quiz - Shuffle vs. Stationary Answer Choices

I am trying to use the matching question to have the learner put something in order. On the right, I numbered 1 through 5, 1 being the top and 5 the bottom. They are supposed to drag items to their proper place, top to bottom.

Problem: The quiz is set to NOT shuffle answers, yet when I view the matching questions, both the choice & match columns are in a different order every time.

How can I fix this? Or, better yet, can your dev team add an "order" quiz question option???

  • Hello,

I would like to be able to create a quiz with the matching option. Is this possible? When I go to change the question type within a quiz, my only options are multiple choice or multiple response. Thank you.

  • Hi William! You can create a new question in your quiz, and select the matching type. However, there isn't a way to convert an existing multiple-choice question to a matching question, since those are different formats.

Hi Gloria! Good question, matching type questions have a 90-character limit. If you're exceeding this limit, you can try creating the interaction in Storyline as a workaround.

How to manually shuffle the left choices if you have more than 5 options?

      Hi Mownicaa!

Same process. From the Quiz main page, click Settings. Then scroll down and toggle on the Shuffle Answer Choices option.
