Rise Scenarios - Auto Play Audio

Hello!

I've been working with scenarios in Rise a lot lately, I love this block. However I find myself wishing there was a way to embed some audio to go along with the text. It would be great to have audio play when an option is selected, and with text/dialogue elements. It's a little quiet, and while the interactivity makes it engaging, the lack of audio for learners who like that element is definitely lacking. Has anyone else found this? Is this a feature that will be added in the near future?

  • Hi Lisa!

Looks like you need a solution to add audio to a Scenario block in Rise. This isn't part of our roadmap right now. I'll add this as a feature request and we'll update this thread once we make any changes!

Can I assume that despite the high number of requests for this incredibly useful feature, that Articulate still haven't done anything to add this as an option?

      Hi D'Ann,

      Thanks for chiming in!

I've shared your feedback with our developers.

I've noticed that there is a route to autoplay audio. However, I cannot seem to find any type of help on how to download/get it to work. I did find a YouTube video that shows you how to autoplay (disappointing to resort to YouTube vs support inside Articulate itself) but it appears you must have an add on that I cannot find any information on. The bot does not know what I mean (I have yet to have successful interactions with the bot) Here is what I found that an attachment must look like. The YouTube video is in Rise360

You probably found the Mighty Youtube channel that talks about a Mod that was created to autoplay audio and videos within Rise. This "M" icon is available if you use the Mighty extension. You can learn more here https://maestrolearning.com/mighty/
