Screenreader not picking up slide items

I hope someone can help! I've been having some materials tested with a screen-reader and where the slide or layers have a text box, an icon (which has alternate text) and a button (which has ...
They're actually buttons. I created an accordion type interaction that required buttons on every layer. Those are actually being picked up just fine. Its the items that I pointed to with an arrow that aren't being picked up at all.
