Skip questions until the end of the test

Hi,

We have a quiz with 5 question banks that randomly generate a total of 60 questions. To pass the test, participants need to score at least 50% in each question bank and 70% overall. The test duration is 120 minutes.

I’m wondering how the participants can skip certain questions and later, at the end of the test, either receive a list of unanswered questions or something similar.

I would be absolutely thrilled if I could get help solving this, thank you.

Regards / Stefan

  • This User Guide article explains how to adjust a quiz so the user submits all of their answers at the same time, which allows them to skip and return.

The article wisely suggest presenting a message to confirm whether the user is ready to submit their answers.

FYI: There's no built-in way to navigate back just to skipped questions. You could, however, provide buttons to jump to a given section of questions.

To allow participants to skip questions, ensure your quiz system tracks skipped questions and provides a review page at the end showing unanswered questions. This way, they can revisit and answer them before final submission. You may need to customize the quiz platform or use plugins to enable this feature.
