Hi Eric, thank you for responding and attempting. This did not resolve the problem. I will send the file in a support case, as this feature is valuable and can't believe it's something within Storyline versus my lack of troubleshooting abilities or know-how.

I see you've connected with our teammate, Robby, in a support case. As they mentioned, after testing your file, the issue happens when a transition effect is set on your layer. As a workaround, you can try avoiding transition effects on your layer and then set animation on the objects in your layer, if needed.
