Story View has changed its "format"

All the best for the festive season. The following is driving my anal retentive brain to distraction - and probably more-so because I would expect it to be an easy fix, but I cannot work it out.

When working on a Slide, my Story View is visible / docked on the LHS, but with the slides underneath each other in a linear fashion. I found that navigation simple and its what I became used to.

Nowadays, Story view is still visible/docked on the LHS, however the slides are no longer linear underneath each other. The Story View shows all the linking between the slides and are spread like an Organisation chart across the docked Story View space. (as shown in the attachment)

Can you please help me reset this to its original format as I find it so much easier to navigate.

Regards,

Shane

  • Hi, Shane,

Story View (both the full version or the selection panel on the left side in editing mode) will always reconfigure to show how slides are linked. While that does make the side panel harder to navigate, it's done to visually represent the overall flow of the course. Thus, the only way to have Story View show slides in a linear fashion is to have a linear course.
