Storyline 3 issue publishing
I am currently running into issues while trying to publish a course in Storyline 3. It gets to the "Preparing to create slides" stage and freezes. Is this an issue that others are experiencing? I tried downloading updates, but that has not remedied the issue. Thanks.
Hello Matthew!
Are you publishing the course to Web, LMS, or Video? In most cases, something specific in the course causes the course to freeze while publishing. I'm happy to take a look at your course to determine what that is. You can attach the .story file to this discussion or upload it privately in a support case.

I am also having the same issue with SL 360! Every time I try to publish a scene (or even the entire course) to Review 360, it freezes and brings up the message that SL might need to close. Unfortunately, I cannot have you review the course due to the type of content I have (and per my client's request). Are there certain types of files that tend to create issues (i.e. mp4, m4a, etc. files)?

Happy to help here, Gwendolyn! Welcome to E-Learning Heroes ⭐️
Review 360 supports common video file formats. When imported, they are re-encoded to MP4 format.
Let's start with a couple of questions to help narrow this down:
- Can you tell me more about what file types you have in your project?
- Could you publish the attached project to Review 360 to see if that works? If you cannot re-create the issue, try importing the file into a new one to see if that helps.
- If it's happening in any/all files, a simple repair of your software should do the trick here.
Keep me posted, and we'll figure out our next move from there!
