Storyline Block in Rise - Next Button Settings
Hello everyone, I have a question. I am embedding a storyline block in Rise. There is a illustration and question marks, if you click on the question marks, terms appear. It is really simple.
My SME wants that only when all question marks are clicked, the next button appears and you can't get any further before. So far everything is understandable and I have set it up that way, but it is still the case that the next button shows immediately and can be clicked directly when i am previewing the project.
Do I have to make another setting in Storyline so that Rise recognizes that the Block is completed? I have a different Storyline block in the Rise course in a different chapter and there it seems to work.
Thanky you for a recommandation in advance.
Do this:
- In Storyline, add a "Complete course" trigger that runs when the state of all of the "?" buttons = Visited.
- When you publish the Storyline file to Review 360, indicate "Using triggers (e.g., 'complete course')" as the only tracking option.
- Insert that version into the SL block in Rise.
With that, the Continue button in Rise shouldn't appear until the complete-course trigger runs.

Hi Paul,
You might have to change the tracking options when exporting the course to mark the course as complete once a trigger has been used. For example the trigger could be that they have clicked/visited the final question mark. I've not tested this, but hopefully that is it.
