Storyline Hack I used to pause between layers

I recently built a template with 3 consecutive drag-and-drop activities, but wanted learners to fully absorb the feedback before moving on. The solution? Motion paths and simple triggers! πŸš€

Here's the step-by-step process I used to make it happen:
1. Insert a rectangle shape outside the slide canvas. βœ…
2. Select the shape and add a motion path animation by going to the Animations tab > Add Motion Path > Lines. πŸ“
3. Adjust the duration of the motion path as needed to control the pause length. ⏲️
4. Add three triggers: two to move the shape along the path when the drop target state and drag target state changes, and a third one to show the next layer once the animation completes. βš™οΈ

I know it may sound a bit complex at first, but seeing it in action makes it click! You may wish to download the template to see it in action: https://rachnaghiya.gumroad.com/l/storyline-dragdrop

That's a very clever solution using motion paths and triggers to enforce a pause between drag-and-drop activities in Storyline! This is a great example of using Storyline features in a creative way to enhance the learning experience. Thanks for sharing!
