Hi Antoine,
I wanted to clarify that while layers have their own timelines, displaying a layer on a slide doesn't replace the base layer timeline. In this example, even though a layer gets shown at around 5 seconds into the video, the timeline of the base layer remains unchanged. This behavior only gets changed when you have this option enabled in the "Slide Layer Properties" section:
Would you mind sharing a copy of the project file you're working on so I can better understand your design requirements? Additionally, I'd like to ask the following questions:
- Do you need to pause the timeline of the base layer when a slide layer is shown?
- Are you observing the base layer timeline going out of sync when a layer appears?
- Do you have the "Prevent the user from clicking on the other layers" enabled for your layers?
