Text Randomly Reformatting Itself

I have noticed that text on some of my slides will randomly reformat themselves during posting both to Review 360 and Scorm Cloud. When I go look at the text in the Storyline file it will be formatted correctly and if I repost the file without making any changes it will right itself. Wondering if anyone else has had this issue and found a solution other than reposting? I originally thought it was because my computer was having issues with Storyline 360 in general but we recently removed and reinstalled all Articulate products on my device and I am still getting errors like this. The Primavera P6 Fundamentals photo I've attached is the most recent error in Review 360 vs how it shows up in Storyline 360. While the buttons are the error popping up in Scorm Cloud vs how it shows up in Storyline 360.

  • Hi lmack90!  I can see how frustrating that is, especially when everything looks right in Storyline but changes after publishing.

Here are a few things to check:

    • Fonts
      • If you're using a custom or local font, try switching to a standard font like Arial to test. You’ll also want to confirm your theme fonts are set the way you expect.
    • Autofit settings
      • Right-click the text box and choose Size and Position. Check whether autofit (like “Shrink text on overflow”) is turned on.
    • States or Slide Masters
      • Take a look at button states (Hover/Visited) and your Slide Master. Sometimes, slightly different formatting there causes unexpected changes.
    • Test in a new file
      • Import one of the affected slides into a brand-new .story file and republish. This helps rule out file corruption.

If you’re still seeing the issue, go ahead and open a support case and share your file. Our team can test it in Review 360 and SCORM Cloud to take a closer look.
