    Sorry to hear you're also having issues with colors from your Storyline course!

    Do you mind sharing more details on the specific behavior you've run into? Also, it would be easier to help troubleshoot if we could see a screenshot of the issue as well as the .story file that's giving you trouble.       For me, my issue is slightly different. I selected Custom and altered the Custom background colour. The new colour displays but not while the content is loading (three dots screen), on here it displays the original dark blue for a second or so. This should be the new colour.

        Thanks for clarifying!

        If the updated custom color displays correctly once the slide loads, but the loading screen briefly shows the original dark blue, that usually means the loader is displaying before the updated player styling fully applies.

        There are two quick checks you can try:

        • Republish to a brand-new folder and fully replace the hosted files. Publish locally to a new empty folder, then delete the entire previous course folder on your server before uploading the new output. This ensures no older CSS files are lingering.
        • Test the hosted course in an Incognito/Private browser window. This forces the browser to load fresh files instead of using cached versions. If the issue disappears there, it’s likely a caching issue.

         

        If you still see the original color briefly appear after trying those two steps, please share your Storyline file here in the thread or privately through a support case so we can take a closer look. We’ll delete it once testing is complete.
