A couple of us have at times experienced the following issue: we export Word docs for translation (FR CA) and when we import the FR file the menu ends up corrupted in a very peculiar way: it will eat up the first letter of each line. If you create custom menu line by overtyping it, it will still make the first letter disappear. There is nothing that appears to be wrong with the words in the translated doc itself, menu items appear as they should.

Would it be possible for you to share your .story file and additional translation files so that we can investigate this further? You can upload to this thread or privately in a support case.
For your reference, here is our article that can assist you with translating courses in Storyline 360. Perhaps reducing the size of the font in the Word document will be a helpful workaround.

I see that I've already consulted you on this problem, and it still persists. I know how to translate courses in Storyline 360. I have two screenshots demonstrating what happens when we import translation back into the course.
I have re-set the menu from the Storyfile, that fixes the problem with cut-off words.
