Undo option?
I don't know if I missed it, but if there isn't one already, Rise really needs an "undo" option. I just accidentally deleted text from a course I was reviewing and it took forever to find the original text to restore it. A simple undo option would have saved a lot of time.
Hello everyone, 🎉
I'm happy to let you know we released a new update for Rise 360! This update adds the following feature:
- Save and restore your work with a click via an easy-to-access version list that captures manual saves and export events.
There's nothing to install for web apps. New features and fixes are immediately available. Let me know if you have any questions about this update.
Hi Carol,
Rise updates in real time, so if you're deleting or changing text you won't see the Undo option appear. You'll see it when you delete a lesson or a block item.
I hope that helps clarify, and we'll keep you posted here if a feature to increase the ability of the Undo function is released.

Again, I think a good fix here would be to move deleted items to a "Trash" bin that can be emptied later or items can be recovered.
Hi Michael,
There is a Deleted courses folder, although you won't find individual lessons or text there.
We'll keep you posted if any other options for this are released!

Hi Ashley,
Thanks for the reply; I was aware of the deleted courses folder and like that feature. However, it is tough when you accidentally delete the wrong lesson and don't realize it in time. So a trash bin within each course would be a great feature.
I can totally understand, Michael, and we'll keep you posted here with any changes on that!

Yes there should be an undo option that is always available, also maybe include like a Work history panel that shows all of your history similar to Photoshop and you can click to go back and delete items you accidentally didn't mean to click. An undo option is a definitely needed! Thank you!
Thanks, Nikki. I know a few folks have shared a similar sentiment, and we've passed all of these comments to our Product team as they look at what features to plan next. If something that matches these requirements is available we'll let you know here!

Is there no way to do this yet?
Hi Kimberly,
If you delete an entire lesson or a block item, you'll see an Undo button appear in the lower left corner of the screen. If you delete text from a lesson, try using the keyboard command Control + z or Command + z to undo the deletion.
I hope that helps clarify, and we'll keep you posted here if we add more functionality to the Undo feature in the future!

Thank you. I didn't see it when I made the mistake.

Hi Kimberly,
Just be aware if you delete a lesson or block, the "Undo" button fades in at the lower left corner, but is only available for about 3 seconds. Usually I don't realize I deleted the wrong thing within that time limit.

Thanks, Michael. I thought so. An unfortunate feature that needs some work. An anchored button would be much more preferable if they can manage that. Love this tool so much, but that is going to cause some unfortunate rework/time.
