Wrong font when previewed in Storyline ... need a fix!
Hi Everyone
I am working on a template to use in creating a lot of content in Storyling. I am using Oswald Semibold for the header and Open Sans for the body text. I have set these both as a custom font for this file in the Design Tab. When I go to preview a slide, the header Oswald Semibold displays as a different font (see attached images).
I have reinstalled the font on my computer and restarted the computer which is my desktop.
I am running latest updated version of Articulate Storyline v3.94.33511.0
Here is the twist: It looks fine when previewed using my laptop! It is the same file, but when previewed on my desktop it is wonky.
I really need this to work on my desktop workstation with two big monitors instead of my laptop. Does anyone have any ideas?
Make sure that you have also changed the font style in the master slide layout to the Oswald Semibold.
If that doesn't work, consider using Fjalla One; it looks similar to the Oswald style.
As for why... ? Not sure.
I changed the font to Fjalla One, and it worked; on a whim, I then changed it from Oswald Semibold to Oswald ... and that worked too. It is just the Oswald Semibold font that generates the problem (on this computer).
Rather than go down a font rabbit hole, I'll just stay away from Oswald Semibold.
