  • Hi KN2026!

    Happy to help!

In Storyline, Zoom Picture bases the zoom effect on the source image's position on the Slide. If the original image is placed off-center, the zoom animation uses that area as its reference point. This can give the impression that the zoomed image itself isn't centered, even though it's behaving as designed.

The best practice is to place the source image as close to the center of the Slide as possible before applying Zoom Picture. Doing so helps ensure the zoomed view feels visually centered for the learner.

Also, are you noticing this behavior when testing the course in Review 360, or after it's been uploaded to an LMS?

If you're still having trouble setting this up, we're happy to take a closer look at your .story file and assist! Feel free to upload a copy of your file here in the discussion or privately through a support case.
