Hello Ashley!

I love that I found out that Rise has this functionality now so that I can force learners to finish SL interactions before continuing in Rise! Even though I made sure to update my Storyline 360, when I try to publish to Articulate 360, the option to track based on course completion trigger is greyed out. Do I have to add some sort of additional trigger in my SL file to make this option available?

That's right, Desiree! It looks like you don't have a "complete course" trigger in your file yet.

Create a trigger on the appropriate slide or layer and select the complete course action. Then choose the status you want to send to your LMS and when you want the trigger to occur.

Here’s an example of a trigger that sends a positive status to the LMS when the learner clicks a button. The trigger will send either Completed or Passed, depending on the reporting status you select when you publish the course.

Hi. I am in Articulate Rise. I have a filp card block followed by the continue block. After flipping all cards the continue block does not work. I have it set to "Complete the content above before moving on." It does not work. This is the first time i have experienced this. Always worked before and it does work in other lessons in this course. Is there an issue with this? I removed it several times and replaced but it still does not work.

Hi! I am trying to create a Continue block for an exercise within Rise. I am using the Matching exercise. I set the Continue block with the rule of "Complete Block Directly Above", but the block unlocks even if I have completed the exercise wrong. Is this functionality not available for this exercise? Help would be appreciated! :)

Hi Ita, it sounds like you're using a continue button right after a matching type knowledge block. The continue button will unlock once a learner completes the knowledge check block, whether their answer is correct or incorrect.  If you want the learner to proceed only when they have answered the knowledge check, I recommend creating your knowledge check activity in Storyline 360 and embedding it in Rise as a Storyline block. I hope this helps!

Hi there,

I have read through all the explanations and guides on object trigger order and I still have issues with the state changes due to object trigger order.

Seen in the image - I need "Q1, Q2, Q3, Q4" to be the priority trigger as there are triggers in the other objects above it but due to the execution being so low in the object trigger list it is not happening. How do you change the order of object triggers?
Why can you only change the order within each object and not the object order?

I'm having the same issue. I have added a completion trigger to the last slide of my storyline block however once it's added to Rise and I've added the "complete the content above before moving on" continue block and the continue block shows immediately (in preview mode). I have followed the all the steps outlined here. Any suggestions?
