Pause and restart a video using cue points

Hi all, I hope you can help me with this problem.

I have basic scene in Storyline that contains only one layer with a video and an audio file. I want the video to pause for 2 second at certain point and then resume while the audio keeps playing. To get the idea, if it were the audio I wanted to pause, I would add 2 seconds of silence in the editor.

What I did was to set 2 cue points 2 seconds apart and add "Pause media" and "Play media" triggers for the video. This worked wonders, the preview does exactly what I want BUT the problem comes when I export this scene as a MP4 file.

When I play the exported MP4 file, the video pauses as intended and then after 2 seconds, instead of resuming like it does in the preview, the video starts again from the beginning.

Is there a way I can ensure the MP4 file will look exactly as the preview in Storyline?

Note: I want to avoid splitting the video or adding layers.
