1714 TopicsMenus in Storyline - Problem
Hello. I have created 40+ Storyline presentations over the last few years. Each of these presentations has a hierarchical menu (topic, indented sub-topics, indented sub-sub-topics etc.) that appear on the left-hand side of the screen. Up until the last few weeks, these menus functioned as expected. However, when I've opened presentations over the last few weeks - the menu has either: disappeared; or does not appear in the same format as it appeared when I last opened the presentation e.g., all slides are listed on the same level, as opposed to being in several levels (i.e., topic, sub-topic, sub-sub-topic ...). I don't want to reconstruct all of my menus because this will take at least 1 hour for each presentation. Has anyone else experienced the same problem? Is anyone aware of any changes (following at least 3 Storyline updates over the last 3 weeks) that might have impacted menus in existing Storyline presentations? Any help would be appreciated. Thank you. Jon11Views0likes1CommentProblem with the screen recording in Articulate. HELP!
Hi everybody. Ok, there is a big problem which I am facing. 😬 Screen recording I have. Screen recording as simulation was done by me by selecting an 'x' size of screen size, which is never a trouble maker. Now I put that same recording as simulation where slide by slide test mode was selected by me. Now my smart colleague chose to change the screen size to 720x540. I had kept it 960x540 earlier. Now she wants me to simply copy and paste the slide as shown in below screenshots for ref. I 'simply' copy it and by doing ctrl+v I could duplicate the slide.😒 (Note: this is happening for any slide that I try to duplicate). As shown below in the SS, the recording size or ratio gets distorted and goes out of the slide size or canvas. Since its a recording, I get no option to fix this by adjusting the edges of it like how we increase or decrease the picture or image size. It 'simply' doesn't allow me to have a clean duplicate file or slide of the ones created. Therefore, I seek for help from anyone who could do some miracle. Else, I have to redo everything or to think about some something else. Because these things aren't in my control. Watch the SS attached carefully. Thanks. 😇11Views0likes1CommentIntroducing Quick Share: One-Click Publishing for Everyday Learning

Greetings, I want to use the Morph transition with buttons that have both Hover and Visited states, using Storyline's own coded states, but to my surprise, the buttons don't follow along, unless I make custom states that I manually program with triggers. This seems like extra work for something that shouldn't be that jarring. Is there any plan to make the Morph transition work with SL's own states? The transition happens a lot of possibilities, but "not working with standard states" and "not working with layers" really grind my progress to a halt. Thanks in advance.AI Voices
Just my two cents, AI Voices were good because we didn't need to go back to our live voice to get something redone, or if we wanted to update 1 slide or add something to a presentation. Now we are seeing voices being removed so the advantage of the AI voices is reduced. I see 2 posts this morning and it's not even lunch time from people that need to make updates to 1 or 2 slides, change a word, or add something and the voice is gone. Maybe we need to look at AI again.Solved319Views6likes16CommentsArticulate 360 User Guides are Moving!
Hey, everyone! As we get ready to say goodbye to 2025 and hello to 2026, we're setting you up for even greater success in the new year. In the next few weeks, we’re moving the user guides you know and love in ELH over to our other documentation database in Product Support! That means you’ll soon have a “one-stop shop" for all of your Articulate 360 documentation needs. This change will also improve the accuracy and responsiveness of Artie, our AI support agent. (Did you know you can ask Artie to find documentation for you instead of searching?) Unifying our databases enables us to analyze usage more deeply so we can better tailor our documentation to meet your needs. Plus, it gives us more options for translating user guides into other languages to serve our global community. Once everything has been transferred, the directories for the individual user guides you depend on (and may have bookmarked), like those for Storyline 360 and Rise 360, will remain available in ELH for your convenience. When you follow the links to the individual articles, they’ll take you to the Product Support knowledge base. We'll have landing pages for each Articulate 360 product there as well. We have a few more things to put in place before flipping the switch, but the transition should be seamless for you when it happens in the next few weeks. Let us know if you have any concerns or questions in the meantime.Solved129Views5likes3CommentsSeeking feedback on a short scenario-based learning module (portfolio project)
Hi everyone 👋 I’m an early-career Learning Experience / Instructional Designer and I’m currently building my portfolio through small, focused practice projects. I’d really appreciate feedback from this community on a short scenario-based learning module I’m developing. 🔹 Tool: Articulate Rise 🔹 Audience: Adult learners / working professionals 🔹 Learning goal: Help learners practice clear, respectful communication and decision-making in realistic situations. 🔹 What I’m sharing: This is a portfolio prototype, not a finished product. The focus is on learning flow and interaction design rather than visual polish. 👉 [https://share.articulate.com/FPxECjbTRXNEWb9H2gMiW] 🔹 Feedback I’d love input on (feel free to comment on any): Does the scenario feel realistic and relevant to adult learners? Is the learning objective clear through the interaction? Does the flow support learning, or are there points that feel confusing or unnecessary? Is the feedback after learner choices helpful for behavior change? Any suggestions for improving engagement or reducing cognitive load? I’m very open to honest, constructive critique — this project is meant for learning and iteration. Thank you so much for taking the time to look and share your expertise. I really appreciate it!15Views0likes0CommentsNext Button Disabled on Resume After Video Completion – Storyline 360
Hi Team, I have a query related to the Resume behavior in Articulate Storyline 360. In my project, a slide contains an MP4 video. The Next button is initially disabled and is enabled only after the video completes, which works correctly on the first visit. However, when the learner closes the course and relaunches it, then clicks Resume, the slide resumes correctly but the Next button appears disabled again, even though the video was already completed earlier. Requirements: Player: Default Modern Player Navigation: using default navigation, and Alternative solution using custom navigation This issue is critical, and I need a reliable solution that ensures the Next button remains enabled on resume once the video has already been completed. Please advise on the best possible approach to resolve this. Thank you.79Views1like7Comments
