1817 Topics-MP4 files not recognize as such by Storyline-
Hey Guys, I need to put some MP4 files in Storyline 360 but when I select them the software tells me that the names migh be incorect or that they might not be MP4s at all. I checked the name and that was not the issue. Then I tried to recode the MP4 using VLC and adobe media encoder to make sure it was not some strange output setting issue. But alas that did not do the job. Anyone here as a fix for this sort of issue?29Views0likes2CommentsLimited Attempts Issue in Canvas LMS
Hello Community! I'm having issues with our Canvas LMS (SCORM lti tool) acknowledging limited attempts for SCORM packages. It's sending grades back to the gradebook, but allowing learners to launch the modules indefinitely after the set limit of attempts. We typically use SCORM 2004, 4th edition, but I've tested in SCORM 2004 3rd edition and SCORM 1.2 with the same results. I don't have a retake option setup in my Storyline module either. So, I'm looking for help on the proper setup between Storyline and Canvas to find out what I could be doing wrong. Additionally, is it still true that the LMS will record the last grade sent, no matter if it's higher or lower? That's been my understanding and just wondering if anything has changed. It seems to be the case when I test, as it records one attempt, but just keeps overriding the last grade with the latest grade. Thanks in advance! How can I make Rise 360 courses fully accessible without breaking my design?
Hi everyone, I’ve been building a course in Rise 360 and want it to be fully accessible for all learners. The problem is that some of the design elements I like don’t seem to play well with accessibility features, and I’m worried about making compromises. Has anyone faced this before? How do you balance keeping your course visually engaging while still meeting accessibility standards? Any real-world tips or tricks would be really helpful.7Views0likes1CommentCollaboration with a team
Hello, The training team at my company has expanded from just me to three total members, yay!! We just finished our first large project, but not without some obvious shortcomings. The collaboration and sharing of projects is extremely limited. We're forced to use our company's shared server for storage of Storyline files and if you've ever tried using Storyline out of a shared server you know it's not a good experience. We have to download the newest versions to our desktop, then overwrite the existing file on the shared server each time we make a change. As I'm sure you can imagine this caused some issues, and a few files actually got corrupted along the way. We also can't figure out a way to allow anyone to publish an updated storyline file to our Review Team folder. The other team members are able to publish but not update existing projects, which means we lose all of the Review comments. Do you have any suggestions for a smoother collaboration experience, or does it not currently exist? Thank you, Nate130Views0likes2CommentsNew button when publishing Rise to LMS
I have just spotted a new button when publishing Rise to LMS (it could have been there a while, but I have only just seen it). Only Load in LMS Please can anybody advise me when this button first appeared, and if they have had any issues with it? It defaults to "On" and I am concerned we may have published content with it checked without realising - hopefully, it just means people can only access content from our LMS but just concerned in case it effects links from other web pages to our content. I’m curious about: What strategies or techniques do you use to make courses accessible? Are there specific tools, templates, or workflows in Articulate 360 that make accessibility easier? How do you balance accessibility requirements with interactivity and design quality? I’d love to hear about real-world examples or lessons learned from your own projects. Hello, I have access to Articulate Rise and Storyline, but haven’t used Storyline before. I am trying to build a course for new managers based on our new leadership capabilities. I envision the course to begin with an assessment to determine which capabilities they need the most development in. The course should feel like a learning journey. I’m kind of stuck with how to make the course look and feel how I’d like it to with the interactions and course flow. Does anyone have any ideas? Should I start with a template? Should I start in PowerPoint and then figure out how to add in all of the branching and triggers? Help!48Views0likes4CommentsFinding Inspiration for Custom Blocks in Rise 360

We’re thrilled to announce an exciting enhancement for all Localization Pro users! When you translate your course, the script will be automatically translated and new audio will be generated and re-inserted in the target language, saving you time and effort. What’s New With this update, translation now includes: Automatic translation of the script (the text that powers Text to Speech). Automatic generation and insertion of localized audio in your translated course. Validator updates: Validators can now update the script, and importing their suggestion will automatically update the audio as well. This functionality is now live in both Rise and Storyline. Important Note for Storyline Users This update applies to both AI Text to Speech and Legacy Text to Speech shapes. You’ll no longer need to manually replace audio after translation, it’s all handled automatically during the translation process! Next Steps We’d love to hear your feedback and learn about your experience using this new feature. Your insights are invaluable as we continue refining how teams create localized learning experiences.153Views2likes2Comments
