Issue with Adobe Flash Player 16

Hi Everyone, 

Adobe released Adobe Flash Player 16 on December 9, 2014 and, as a result, Articulate products won’t open properly. Published content isn’t impacted.

We’re working fast and furiously to fix the issue, and will release updates as soon as humanly possible.

 

*UPDATE* The issue has been resolved for Storyline 2, Storyline 1 and Studio '13. Please upgrade to the latest version of Storyline 2, Storyline 1, or Studio '13 as appropriate. An update for Replay is available as well.

Adam, I've been a customer/user for a long time, and last night, the Replay and the SL2 fixes I applied (Windows 8.x) machine, still did not fix the FP 16 issues. I'm in email contact with Support, and I had rebooted my computer after the reinstalls. Just FYI. But, this is very frustrating. We have and use Studio '13, SL1, SL2, and Replay.

Thanks Greg! But the problem is that if you are accessing from Spain, recognize your location and you are redirected to the page articulate in Spanish https://es.articulate.com/products/storyline-why.php. This is what happens when you click this link https://www.articulate.com/products/storyline-update.php from Spain. Finally I solved it by changing my location...

Glad you figured this out. For reference, I also outlined these steps last week in the below post: https://community.articulate.com/discussions/articulate-storyline/flash-player-16-issue?page=13#reply-232864 We are aware of this issue with the Spanish microsite (originally designed with a focus only on Storyline 2), and are exploring options to make accessing content easier when we detect that Spanish is your language preference.

Thanks Jenise! I'm just nervous that after installing the latest updates, each time I open it says I have x days remaining on my free trial and would I like to activate with a serial number. When I do, it appears not to save and shows the same thing on next open. As long as it still works after the "free-trial period" is over I guess I'll be fine!

We contacted Sales when my husband's (and business partner) Ubuntu OS that he runs parallel to Windows 7, reset the clock on his computer, fast forwarding his 30-day free trial down to.... Expired! Yikes! LOL I contacted sales, and they emailed my DH a link to restart his 30-day trial. That was wonderful customer service. So, go ahead and contact sales with your question about what you see with the install of the Updates. Sales worked with us, and I bet they'll work with you as well. Good luck! @jenisecook
