I've enjoyed (and gotten a lot of use out of) the many graphics and templates shared by the Articulate community. I've attached a thermometer illustration I created and have used in various e-learning courses. It's created in PowerPoint, so you can change the temperature or look of it. I hope you find these useful!
i just saw your other post too, angie (the one with the clocks built in powerpoint) and then noticed this one too - wonderful! Thank you so much for posting!
Thanks, Angie. I can using something like this in a scenario, when the learner is trying to gauge the "temperature" of a person or situation. OK, that sounds kind of dorky as I write it, but would look less so in practice.
...and with a little tweaking of the image (10 tweaks to be precise...), the addition of a few (dozen) Triggers, a small smattering of Conditions, and a collection of States - you get a rather funky course progress meter
As you progress, keep your eye on the image in the centre........

This looks great, Angie. Thanks so much for sharing!
Hooray for Angie! Thanks for the clock and the thermometer.
A few mentioned they were having trouble downloading the pptx - here it is saved as ppt, as well

Thanks! It is perfect for a course I'm working on.
Angie, downloading this one too. TX!
Daniel, I don't think it sounds dorky. Are you going to make it go up or down, depending? If so, fill us in, OK

Thanks also to Phil Mayor for the menu concept.

Very cool idea Bruce and Phil! Clever way to use it, for sure.
