Help with progress thermometer

Hi...I'm trying to create a "progress thermometer" where when a user chooses a correct answers, the temperature on the thermometer "raises." Since there are 3 correct answers, I've divided the thermometer up into 3 rectangles, each with a normal and "selected" state. The selected state turns the rectangle red when a radio button associated with that rectangle is clicked. When the radio buttons are clicked in the proper sequence, the temperature rises from the bottom to the top. My question is, is there a way to have the bottom rectangle change state when any of the three correct answers is chosen in a random sequence, then the middle rectangle, then the top?

Hi Eric,
You can do it with a number variable. Take a look at this I added a variable and triggers.
See attached a revised file with one possible solution. I use a variable that is increased/decreased as the radio buttons are clicked. Based on the changing value I display states of the thermometer indicator. Hope that makes sense.
Hi, Eric -- Looks like Cary and Michael are on the case, but I wanted to share a few other articles and threads on progress meters that I thought you might want to check out:

You all are fantastic!!! Thanks so much. Works exactly as I had hoped!
Thanks Christie...I've bookmarked all of these. Never know when they'll come in handy!
