Announcement to launch the course request form and inform teams about the process development

Feb 14, 2017

Hi everyone,

We're about to create our Learning and Development team and almost ready to announce what process development is and which documents the stakeholders would need to use so that we get started.

Any ideas on how to convey this in some kind of animation style?

Thanks!

Hi David. Congratulations on the upcoming launch of your Learning and Development team! I think it's great that you're thinking ahead about ways to proactively engage and inform stakeholders about the process of collaborating with your team.

In terms of the format or visual design approach for reaching and engaging these folks, it might be good start with them—what communication style works best to really grab their attention? What ideas have connected with this audience in the past?

A simple whiteboard animation style might be a good way to go since it's spare, a little fresh and fun, and generally gets to the point, quickly. One of your fellow community members, Mike Schwind, wrote about how he used whiteboard animations with his project in this discussion post.

If you're not 100% married to the idea of animation, you may want to consider creating a short, interactive video to walk through the collaboration process.  Here's a walk-thru of an interactive "how-to" video I created in Storyline. There are also some free examples and free downloads for Storyline that might give you a few more ideas.

Best wishes on a successful launch!
