Hi I want to create an interaction where the user would click on a TV remote different buttons from 1-11 and for each button it would being up a different fact that appear on a "monitor" and change as you click on each button. I like the labeled graphic but it would be great if the labels could be positioned anywhere. Any ideas?
You could set up each fact as a new slide using the same background (master slide) for each, then use the remote clicks to jump to each slide. Each number would be hyperlinked to a slide, so no matter what slide they were on, they could "change the channel" to another one.
Set up your 12 blank slides, set up the remote on the first slide with the hyperlinks to the other 11, then you can copy and paste the remote group object and it will preserve the links. You could even add in a static looking graphic after they click on the jumped to slide to make it look like the channel is changing.
So I tried this but when I tested this out I had the 'Power" button go to the slide after this interaction but the hyperlink does nothing. Or If they click on one of the buttons it brought them to the 10th fact out of 11 not the slide that comes after the 11th fact. Any ideas?
See if this is what you are attempting. I put the remote in the master slide to save space and publishing time. So you'll hvae to adjust the hyperlinks to match your slide numbers. And this will only work after being published out as Phil mentioned.
