Creating mouse over button in Articulate

Sep 24, 2012

Dear All,

I need some an activity which work similar to Articulate Engage progress. But, instead of number step 1,2 3 and 4, I need it as custom text.  I need 4 buttons at the bottom, "Technology", "Framework", "People" and "Process".

Clicking on each words, will display the page corresponding to it. It works exactly like the process steps.

Is there any way to make this? any work around ? I was thinking to create custom mouse over button, but I can't find it as well.

Please help.

Thanks and Regards,

YL

Hi Yulstar, Have you thought about using the Timeline Interaction? That would give you something similar to the Process Interaction but you could name the periods & events whatever you want. Attached is an example - open the file in Engage and preview it, and see if it gives you something close to what you want.

Hello Yulstar,

The other choice with Engage is always the trusty Labelled Graphic interaction.... IMHO the most flexible interaction in the suite in terms of what you can create with it. It's a great way to simulate mouseovers even if you just save a traditional looking PPT slide as a picture, then insert that as a labelled graphic.

Of course if you have a process, you might want to create a graphic image of the process to help the learner visualize it even more...

Hope this helps,

Bob
