Hyperlinks & Spaces between words

Jun 20, 2013

I have created a slide that hyperlinks to the intranet once the user clicks on 'click here' . But for some reason when the storyboard is published it takes the user to the previous page. I have checked the slide properties and it is pointing in the right direction. I have also checked the hyperlink itself. I have tried everything I can think of!

In addition, I seem to have some extra spaces on some slides that are hyperlinked to the intranet once published.

Any suggestions?

Hi there Salwa. Welcome to the community!

First, can you please tell me how you're viewing the published presentation? Are you uploading the project to a server, or are you testing it locally?

If you view a published Studio '09 presentation on your local hard drive or send it to someone else to view on their local hard drive, you'll encounter security restrictions from the computer, web browser, Flash Player, and network that'll cause various features of your content to fail.

To properly test your published content and share it with others, upload it to the environment for which it was published. Please review the article below for more information:

Publishing and sharing Studio '09 content

Thanks!

Hi there Salwa!

Thanks very much for getting back to me!

It sounds like it may be an issue with the file, if that's the case. Are you able to share the presentation with us, so we can see what's happening?

If you're inserting the interaction in Presenter, please create a Presenter Package. If you're using a standalone Engage interaction, please share the INTR file.

Create an Articulate Presenter package by following the steps in the following article:

Send to Articulate Presenter Package

Attach the .ZIP or INTR file to the second page of the following form:

Submit a Support Case

Please be sure to include a description of your issue and also include the URL for this thread in the case. Also, if possible, please share the case number with me, so I can follow up with you in this thread. You're welcome to share the case number in this thread, or send it to me in a private message.

Thanks!
