Image Zoom new window error

Feb 08, 2012

I'm having issues with image zoom in a new window. I have presenter files on-line whiich were previously ok but are now not working. I've republished them but I'm having the same issue now even trying to view them after they have been published.

Below is the file error when trying to view it after publishing.

We are working off moodle which is now showing the following error message.

Sorry, the requested file could not be found

More information about this error

Can anyone shed any light on this please?

Cheers,
Andy

Welcome to Heroes, Andy!

That file path looks like it may be the culprit. Check out these tips for managing your files which can help prevent issues.

1.  Work on your local drive (your C: drive). Working on a network drive or a USB drive can cause erratic behavior, including file corruption, loss of audio, and other unexpected behavior.

2. You should also make sure the directory path to your project files and your published output is less than 260 characters (for example C:\Articulate).

3.  Avoid using special characters, accents or symbols in your file names.

HI Peter

Thanks for your response. I have moved all of the files, including the Engage files to my desk top. When i go to view the file after publishing, the images are still not displaying. Any other thoughts? I am using Firefox, is there a possibility there are now some conflicts between FF and Articulate?

Kind regards

Andy

Hi Andy,

Have you since moved your files from the original location of where you published them? You may also find some useful information on publishing to your LMS below. The actual upload process will vary depending on your LMS. Please consult with your LMS for specific instructions on how to upload content to your LMS.

Hi again, Andy

If you have included an Engage ’09 interaction in your presentation and have configured it so that an image zooms in a new window or a movie launches in a new window, you may encounter an error message similar to the following during playback:

"Page cannot be found."
