I am attempting to install update 3 and it will not install either standalone or via application update. The error points to the update being unable to find the original Studio installation. Does the update need to be run from a specific directory? Will previous updates need to be installed prior to Update 3? The system is Win 7 64-bit with Office 2010.

I apologize for the issues you're experiencing. What happens if you go to the Control Panel and try to uninstall Articulate Studio from there? Will Windows let you?
