Hi - I have a need to have the title of a tab in an Engage interaction to be in italics. Some of our program names are always shown in italics due to branding. Is there any way I can do this? When I copy the italicized text from the body of a tab and paste it into the title area, it's italicized, but when I save and view it, the formatting goes away.
It sounds like the formatting is only showing up because the text from the description was copied and pasted into that field. Engage '13 and '09 Tabs interaction title and tab title cannot currently be formatted. You can change the font for the interaction, but you cannot apply Italics or Bold to that text.
What may work is to use a font that appears as if it's in Italics.
In Engage '13:
Click on "Interaction Properties" >> "Colors and Effects" and select a font like Monotype Corsiva.
Here's how it will look with that specific font chosen as the title font:
You could also install other fonts that might work better for your project.
In the meantime, if you'd like to see more formatting options for Engage '13, I would recommend sending in a suggestion.
