Labeled Graphic content font won't change

Jan 16, 2015

My company uses Gotham font as part of it's branding.  When I create a Labeled Graphic in '13 I cannot get the content font to change to Gotham-Book.  I can change it to other fonts but not Gotham.

I have attached a screen shot showing the issue.  The font in the content box is New Times Roman even though I have specified in my Interaction Properties that it should be Gotham-Book.  If I try to change it manually it does not work.

Hi Jennifer,

I don't have Gotham on my machine to test out that specific font, but I did notice that the "Label Title" font doesn't change while editing the content but that the Preview shows both fonts as expected.

Are you able to use the Gotham font in Powerpoint or Word? If not, I would not expect to be able to utilize it in Articulate projects. If you can use it in those other instances, do you have a sample of the Gotham font I can test with or direct me to a free download?

I believe the issue is specifically related to the Gotham font in Articulate.  When I looked at related issues there are several others mentioning problems w/ Gotham font.

I checked to see what version I am using and it is the True Type font.  I tried it in PowerPoint and had no issues.

I checked in Preview and the wrong font is still showing.  I can edit the content to show any other font and it works fine.  Gotham is the only one that won't work.

Gotham is a font that we had to purchase so I don't think I can share it w/ you.  When reading related posts it looked like David Anderson has the Gotham font already, or that your company owns it b/c it is used in Storyline demos.
