I have an Engage circle diagram I built and the Next button will not advance to the next slide. It always pops up that I can only go back and view slides I have not viewed. I have all slides set to be advanced by user, and have clicked on each portion of the diagram but it will not respond correctly. I have a prototype attached so you can see what it does. Thanks for any help you can give me.
Here's another link that might help if you don't have audio with your interaction. Apparently, the defaul time time a user must spend on each step of an interaction that doesn't have audio is 5 seconds.
Thanks for your guidance Melanie! I added 20 seconds of silence to each section of my circle diagram and they advanced perfectly. You saved me many hours of headache trying to figure this out on my own.
I have a similar issue to Barb's above, in that I have a circle diagram that the user can not progress past. The course is locked down and this particular screen does not unlock, at least not with any consistency. There is audio on the slide, added via the Audio Editor in Articulate, but no other audio.
If anyone has any suggestions then awesome as I'm pulling my hair out now, have wasted several hours on a multitude of fixes that haven't worked.
Sorry for the delay. I didn't realize this is the issue you were referring to earlier.
Can you share the .INTR file here so I can check it out? Or, you can send it over to our support team, if you'd like. If you send the file in a case, I will try to take a look at it there, too. If I can't figure out what's happening, maybe the support team can pinpoint the problem.
No worries I've attached the .intr file, hoping you can shed some light. I'm sure it just an Engage bug, but if you're able to take a look and provide a work-around that would be amazing :)
I'm guessing, and I may be wrong, that this has something to do with options in your Presenter presentation (assuming you're inserting the INTR into a presentation). I took a look, inserted it into Presenter and when I reached the end of the interaction, the "Next Slide" button shows up and works for me.
Just to get a better idea of how you have this set up, what do you have for the interaction properties?
Also, you mentioned that this doesn't consistently work properly - can you give a little more information on this? Does it work at some point?
If you'd like to send the full package over, so we can check it out, that'd be great, too

Hi Barbara,
Do you have audio in the engage interaction? If so, this Articulate support article might help.

Thanks for the replies! I do not have audio but will try the blank audio trick.
