Next button will not advance from circle diagram

Jul 30, 2012

I have an Engage circle diagram I built and the Next button will not advance to the next slide. It always pops up that I can only go back and view slides I have not viewed. I have all slides set to be advanced by user, and have clicked on each portion of the diagram but it will not respond correctly. I have a prototype attached so you can see what it does. Thanks for any help you can give me.

Hi,

I have a similar issue to Barb's above, in that I have a circle diagram that the user can not progress past. The course is locked down and this particular screen does not unlock, at least not with any consistency. There is audio on the slide, added via the Audio Editor in Articulate, but no other audio.

If anyone has any suggestions then awesome as I'm pulling my hair out now, have wasted several hours on a multitude of fixes that haven't worked.

Thanks

Steve

Hey Steve

Sorry for the delay. I didn't realize this is the issue you were referring to earlier.

Can you share the .INTR file here so I can check it out? Or, you can send it over to our support team, if you'd like. If you send the file in a case, I will try to take a look at it there, too. If I can't figure out what's happening, maybe the support team can pinpoint the problem.

Hi Steven,

I'm guessing, and I may be wrong, that this has something to do with options in your Presenter presentation (assuming you're inserting the INTR into a presentation). I took a look, inserted it into Presenter and when I reached the end of the interaction, the "Next Slide" button shows up and works for me.

Just to get a better idea of how you have this set up, what do you have for the interaction properties?

Also, you mentioned that this doesn't consistently work properly - can you give a little more information on this? Does it work at some point?

If you'd like to send the full package over, so we can check it out, that'd be great, too

Please create an Articulate Presenter package by following the steps in the following article:

Attach the .ZIP file to the second page of the following form:

Hopefully we can get this up and running for you quickly! :)

Thanks,

Christine
