How are you attaching the Powerpoint file to your Engage interaction? If you're able to place a Powerpoint point presentation on a web server, you could link to by inserting a hyperlink, although unless you're able to share it in such a way that it's Presentation only mode, it'll likely always open the file in the default of slide view.
