PPT Does Not Recognize Inserted Interaction?
Jul 23, 2012
Hi,
I have a PPT with three inserted interactions, which I am linking to from a table contents slide. Two out of the three interactions link just fine, but I am having trouble with the one. I have hyperlinked them, but when I publish it, the one troublesome hyperlink either drops out completely, or if it does work, it goes to a blank slide and freezes the presentation. These results have varied depending on how many times I've re-published, re-inserted, or re-hyperlinked.
To hyperlink, I've right-clicked to the Hyperlink option, then select the Place Within This Document option, and click on the slide that is the interaction I want to link to. For all other slides I've done this for (some interactions, some not), the window shows a preview of the slide I want to link to. I've noticed that for this slide in particular, no preview shows up. I've tried creating content in two different types of interactions and it still does this.
I don't know if it's an engage, PPT, or presenter issue. Can you help?
Thank you,
Melissa

Hi Melissa,
Are you able to send us your files so we can take a closer look at what's going on? Please create an Articulate Presenter package, then upload the zip file to our server. You can review how to do this here:

Hi, Peter!
I was just about to submit a reply to say that I resolved my issue. The last thing I did was to change the interaction title so it did not have a comma in the title and the PPT hyperlink now works.
Thank you for your reply!! But all is working as it should now.
Awesome! Glad to hear it, and thanks for checking back
Thanks, again! I like that the simplest solution was the last thing I tried. C'est la vie.
