I bet this is a really easy one that has been asked MANY a time....
I am creating an e-learning along side a classroom course. The classroom course would like to use an interaction which I have created in the e-learning. Is there any way of adding the interaction into their powerpoint show so they can see the interaction without me having to publish their slide show in Articulate?
Thank you however I do understand how to do that but this is not what I need, you would still have to publish the whole presentation in order to view the interactions.
It is more this problem...
I am creating an e-learning along side a facilitator who is creating a face to face classroom course.
The facilitator for the face to face course would like to use an interaction which I have created in the e-learning. They will be showing this to course delegates in a powerpoint slide show not from a scorm package.
Is there any way of adding the engage interaction already published into their powerpoint show so they can see the interaction without me having to publish their slide show in Articulate? Bearing in mind they do not have an Articulate liscence - nor do they need one just to show one presentation.
I do not want to publish their whole presentation as this would make me responsible for updating their course presenation which, to be frank, I do not have time to do...
Is there anyway I can publish it to a flash file then insert it as as FLV that will play properly in the presentation?
Thanks for getting back to me. I do have a suggestion that may work for you, but since you're wanting to insert this outside of Articulate software, we won't be able to provide any troubleshooting if the suggestions do not work.
This is discussed in a previous forum post that can be found here.
What you can do is publish the Engage interaction for the Web, then upload it to a web server. Then you can use a third-party tool to insert the web page into PowerPoint. Again, this method is not supported by Articulate.
This is helpful! Still, it is confusing how you start in powerpoint, modify in engage, and then publish. You play in engage, but then go back to powerpoint to modify.
Just seems a bit odd although it works great, I have to remember to keep both files.

Good morning Clare!
Can you provide a little more information on the interaction you want to import into PowerPoint, please?
You said that you'd like to use an interaction you've created, but what software did you use to create it? Was it Storyline, Quizmaker or Engage?
Thanks!
Hiya Christine
It was in Engage

Good morning Clare!
Thanks for the additional information! Just to clarify, you're wanting to insert an Engage interaction into a PowerPoint presentation. Is that right?
If so, there is a very helpful tutorial on inserting an Engage interaction into PowerPoint. You can find that tutorial here.
If that's not what you're trying to accomplish, let us know!

Hello Matthew,
This thread is a bit dated and the scenario that the user needed seems pretty specific.
For information on adding your interaction to your Presenter course, please check out this article.
