Remove timing from Engage Labels

Hello,

The Engage labels seem to be set to display for 5 seconds.  I recorded audio on the slide that plays independently of the labels.  So, if you click on the labels and their time runs out before the audio, the audio cuts off.  Can I set these labels to have no time limit?

Hi Jill,

Interaction steps without audio default to 5 seconds. Would it be possible to incorporate the audio into the interaction itself? That would be the ideal and supported way to go. Here's an old thread and, to be honest, I've never tried it so not sure how well it would work or if it would cause any issues:

Hi Justin,

I had a feeling that would be your answer... and it was already my back-up plan.  The link you sent me brought up another question.  I have seen other posts about publishing interactions to change .xml files.  However, I can't figure out how to publish an interaction to get to the engage_content folder.  Can you clue me in?
