Slide hangs for some but not all users

Hi,

We host an Articulate course where an engage activity has been embedded into the slide.  For some reason for a lot of users, but no all users, this particular slide never loads and just hangs. This doesn't make sense to me because the course files are all being pulled from 1 location on our LMS so why would some users but not all have a problem with a single slide in a course?  We already checked that the users meet the min sys requirements as well.

So far I haven't been able to determine where the problem lies but another slide in the course is now hanging for some users but not all.  It is similar to the other slide that hangs in that it is an Engage file that plays within the slide versus as an independent slide.

Are any known issues with inserting engage files inside the slide?

I uploaded the course to scorm cloud and I get stuck on a quiz slide.  The quiz never appears on the screen and  I can't get passed the slide or go back because I must complete the quiz in order to continue.  The course is also set to only allow users to view slides already viewed.  I exited the course and signed back in and when prompted to resume I said 'no' and was taken back to the start of the course which is what I expected.    I was not expecting that the course 'reset' as if I had never completed the first set of slides.  Is this suppose to happen?
