Hi Sam! Phil's right, currently Engage doesn't support annotations or animations.
However, a simple and free solution would be to create a video of what you have in mind, and insert that into the Engage interaction. There are lots of ways to do this, but here are a free approaches you could explore:
Use Screenr to record a video of some text/annotations/animations in PowerPoint. Then download the MP4 from Screenr and insert that into your Engage interaction.
Create a 1-slide presentation in PowerPoint with text/annotations/animations, and then publish it with Articulate Presenter. Then go to the data/swf folder of your published output, and find the swf for that slide. Then insert that swf into your Engage interaction.
That will allow our development team to officially log your request. Although we can't guarantee every request gets incorporated into a future version, the developers do use feature requests from the community as an important way of deciding how to enhance the software.
