Any suggestions for articulate setting/ computer settings so i do not receive "video could not be published because your available system memory is too low?"
Is this occurring with any video or a specific video. How large is the video you are trying to process? Is the video located on your C: drive or a network drive? Articulate products function best when the video you want to play is located on the C: drive.
If you continue having problems, you can always submit your case for a closer look: http://upload.articulate.com
Found what works. Convert to AVI then load to video encoder then convert to flash.
But, do I have to go through process of converting all my MPG files to AVI only to convert them again to flash? Does Video Encoder only work properly with AVI format? A patch available to make MPG files more palatable?
MPG files are supported. If you are unable to import or convert a video in Video Encoder, please close Video Encoder and install the following codec packs:
Hello. I'm having the same issue and have tried the above fixes. I have 9 .wmv different videos to put into three different PPTX presentations.
The files range in size from 5.58 MB to 23.6 MB. I can get them to play inside of PPTX if I insert within PPTX. But when I publish in Articulate they don't play. So then I try to convert in Articulate Video Encoder and get the same message as Jesse, above.
Are you able to send us your project files so we can test them out on our end? Please create an Articulate Presenter package, then upload the zip file to our server. You can review how to do this here:
Hi, Peter. I actually went back to the original files (QuickTime video), before we had the vendor convert to .wmv and was able to use those in Video Encoder. We'd had him convert to .wmv since those can be inserted directly into PowerPoint.

If you are converting an MPG video that was created by a proprietary Adobe product that is not installed on the same computer as Articulate Video Encoder, you may be able to resolve this issue by installing MainConcept ShowCase here:

So it's working now. Thanks for your response!
