Mark Complete and few other questions...

Mar 06, 2013

Hello all,

We ran into a mandate where we have to present the user w/ a Mark Complete button at the end of a course.

The LMS we are using is AICC compliant.

There are a few ways I'm thinking of approaching this.

1. On the last slide, check to see if all the slides have been viewed, if so make the "Exit Course" tab activate and allow the user to exit the course that way.

Question - Looking at the API docs, there does not seem to be a way that I can tell if a slide has been viewed or not.

My idea was to get the slide count, then loop thru it, if the slides were all viewed, then display the Exit Course tab.

Which leads to my second question, is there a way to have a tab become enabled/disabled programatically?

2. My other approach was the just check and see if all the slides have been viewed, then give the user an mark complete button which they can then just click.  Even tho I would rather not mess w/ LMS call w/in my SWF, is there an easy way to send a Complete to the LMS?  (an example would great!)

Thanks

-Rob
