My Exit Button Won't Work

So I made an exit button. Plain jane, nothing special. I made a hyperlink to exit. I put it on the slide master. I see it. But my cursor doesn't turn to a hand when I mouse over and it does nothing when I click it.

I moved it on the master slide screen to make sure that there wasn't an invisible box over it. I added a next and previous button that both work. I added a menu to go to the course menu slide. That works.

What am I missing?
