Articulate quizmaker content can only run in IE8 compat mode.
May 11, 2014
Recent versions of Internet Explorer have disabled the FSCommand feature, an ancient feature used by Flash to communicate with javascript. Unfortunately Quizmaker uses this feature which means that the content can only work while running in IE8 compatibility mode.
So the current work around is to add a meta tag to force IE8 compatibility mode, unfortunately when content is loaded in a frameset, as many LMS's do, this meta tag needs to be added to the LMS source code itself.
I'd like to be able to run my LMS in standards mode, please update Articule to use the Flash ExternalInterface api instead of FSCommand.
