I''ve built a course using a template that has worked for our entire team. It has a final exam, there are two slides after the exam, one for passing one for failing. The settings are go to slide x based on the pass or fail results. My course will not continue past the results to the appropriate slide, the button does nothing, will not respond.
I've tried everything with the same result - even uninstalled and reinstalled Articulate and all of our templates and rebuilt the course.
If you have published a standalone quiz or inserted a quiz into a Presenter presentation and it is not functioning as expected there are several reasons why this could be happening.
1) If you publish a quiz or presentation to be used in an LMS and view the presentation from your local drive, the finish button will not work. The finish button will only work when the quiz or presentation is incorporated in your LMS.
2) If you have published your content for Web or CD and the finish button is not working it is likely due to increased security in flash player 8 or higher. The finish button should work as expected if the content is hosted online. For more details on how to resolve this issue, please see:
Thanks, Peter. I have discovered that copying slides from the template we use back into an existing ppt seems to be the problem. I started with a fairly old ppt, did all my formatting and then copied in the elements of the template. Something about those old slides seems to be the problem.
